Low-earth Orbit Launderette
Because astronauts need clean pants too
Life Cycle
I don’t know why I made this - it’s far too big for our home and serves no purpose - but I’ve wanted to make it for ages, so I finally did.
Anybody got any ideas for what I should do with it?
Red Rocket
On Sunday I met a randy stallion in a paddock of horses who was trying to get it on with whichever mare would take him, and I made this red rocket ship. I don’t know if the two are connected.
Subwoofer Spin Cycle
After converting some oxo cube boxes into tiny washing machines, extensive research has led me to the conclusion that Ed Rush and Optical make the best music for spin cycling
A Running Bath
Days - no, months - of casting, carving, sanding, papier-mâché-ing, priming, painting, sanding, spraying, sewing and gluing, all for one scruffily-executed uncommissioned visual pun? Welcome to my world
Laundry Tape
I had an idea for some adhesive tape with laundry all over it! It’d be much better printed, but here is the best I could make out of bits of paper and some cheap clear tape I found in the fridge :)
Coolpix Camera Case
Today I made a case for the camera I got Lilly for Christmas! Well, I started it yesterday then quickly discovered I ran out of black thread, so I had to finish it today inatead. Anyway.
The quality of construction is terrible- I made the lens part way too big, which made the shutter button end up way off centre and the case a bit too deep for the camera, and the proportions all slightly wrong. Regardless of this, I am pleased with how it turned out- as an idea it’s pretty cool, and with all the details painted in, it is a much more successful daily act of creativity :)
